The garden is well cared for and the room, linen and towels are clean. The property is secure and quiet, peaceful. The TV provided has Netflix and Prime streaming services, although I did not watch them, but I was able to play Spotify through the TV. The staff was friendly, but barely available.

On arrival, I had to phone twice to ask to be let in, when the person answered my calls, I was met with barely a sound instead of a professional or friendly greeting. It was freezing in Pretoria and unfortunately only a summer duvet was provided, I did ask for a heater or electric blanket, but was only offered a blanket which was not sufficient. I endured 2 very cold nights. The room was booked for 2 of us, but at the last moment my husband was unable to attend, and there were only 3 pillows on the bed. The floors are a high shine finish and the small rugs slipped very easily, an accident waiting to happen. I rolled the rugs up and stored them in the corner. The photos online make the room look larger than it actually is, so quite deceiving. The remote control for the gate I was initially given did not work, but they did replace it with a working one. Only one bag of rooibos tea was provided and two tiny servings of milk, I had to ask for more milk, and then they only provided another 2 tiny tiny servings, I didn't bother asking again. The shower in the very open plan bathroom wets everything when you take a shower, and you need to fill the kettle very awkwardly at the bathroom basin tap, and then you are able to fill it just enough to boil it. A full length mirror and a bathroom mirror would be welcomed by woman, especially when getting dressed to go out.

It was really clean and the stuff was so nice and very welcoming.

It was peaceful , clean and quiet and the reviews were on point , I’m definitely booking again here with my partner
