A little more remote than I was expecting but this also added to the charm in its own way

Lovely location, if a little too rural. House well decorated and furnished

It's advertised as pet friendly. In fact we found it on Dog Friendly Cottages website. But I don't think it should be classed as dog friendly at all. Only after we'd booked and paid in full (non refundable) did we get told if we had any special requests such as early check in or taking a pet, we should contact the owners directly. A request is just that and not a guarantee. Whilst we were ok to take our dog, we were told they had to stay in the hallway or kitchen. There is a lot of outdoor space, but we were unsure where we could go & there was a lot of pheasants so not very safe for our dog. We chose a dog friendly place as our dog is part of our family. We spent most of our stay in the kitchen. So a TV in there would be good! We were told the property was furnished to a high standard, which it is. So why accept dogs?! A very expensive stay that felt like we were in pins with our dog. But it's a lovely place for people who don't have a dog.

The neat finishing of the house and the beautiful surrounding. It's located in a remote area so very peaceful with great views.

The WiFi needs improvement and knives were dull.

A beautiful rural cottage surrounded by fields, Ffrith Bach was a fantastic setting for our Welsh holiday. Spotlessly clean with everything needed for a self catering holiday- 5 star quality! With castles and beaches just a short drive away as well as other attractions it is in an excellent location. With sea views and lovely sunsets it really is in an idyllic spot.

An absolute wonderful find. The property is quietly situated in the Welsh hills offering stunning views of the coast and mountains. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful cottage for our Welsh holiday and will certainly be back in the not too long distant future.
