Liked the location-many attractions are walkable. Staff were very pleasant and helpful! Rooms are lovely and the food is excellent. Don’t be deterred by garage parking that is less than a block from the hotel.

My stay at the The Liberty Trust Hotel in downtown Roanoke was nothing short of exceptional. The transformation of this historic former bank into a boutique hotel is absolutely stunning—the architecture and design beautifully preserve its character while offering modern comfort and style. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, courteous, and professional, making me feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout my stay. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist truly elevated the experience. The room itself was cozy and thoughtfully designed, with amazing amenities that made it both comfortable and luxurious. Every detail, from the furnishings to the overall ambiance, contributed to a relaxing and memorable visit. If you’re looking for a unique and elegant place to stay in Roanoke, The Liberty Trust Hotel is a standout choice. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Don't bother. What a disappointing experience! The hotel is a converted historic bank, so had lots of potential. However, the rooms were barely adequate - tiny furniture spaces to put your stuff, everything was made of formica in the bedroom, coffee maker didn't work, etc. The worst thing was the noise! The train tracks are nearby (which didn't bother me after you got used to it) and there was very loud traffic noise, music nearby, and partying on the street below. No soundproofing whatsoever. I didn't go to sleep until the bars closed at 2am. Also, had a drink in the bar - an aperol spritz - one of the easiest drinks to make, but they added all kinds of fruit juices, and I don't think there was any prosecco or even wine. The whole experience was disappointing to say the least. They have a lot to improve.
