Waterfront Two Bedroom apartment in a brand new building 2 Apts by RedAwning

I’m home in Houston, and now I can give a review. This is not a new building and/or Apartment. This was a refurbished apartment with very cheap items. It is not worth the amount I paid. The one thing is that it was somewhat clean and freshly painted. The beds was very uncomfortable and cheap and unsettling. The mattresses on both beds slid from one side to the other. The bath rooms was clean, however the drain stopper in the tub didn’t work so we had to shower only. The refrigerator ice maker filter need’s changing so it didn’t give ice, so we to purchase ice trays. The utensils was all kinds of styles and very cheap. The last unsettling thing was finding small dog biscuits under the sofa and beds. This was very disappointing for the price I paid as well as made us feel like we was doing something was illegal by how we had to check in by being instructed not to converse with the Pelican staff and informing me to just say we are guest of the Pelicans building so the doorman can let us up the elevator and our keys would be in a binder. RedAwning Vacation Rentals appears to be a scam. This is a black eye for Hotels.com.
