Our room was nice but certainly overpriced at £490 for two nights.

1. Overpriced room for 2 nights 2. Uncomfortable sofa 3. Bathroom handle too close to door frame - kept catching our hands when opening door 4. Didn't get much sleep due excessive noise from JD Weatherspoons pub opposite our bedroom. 5. People screaming and shouting until 3.30 am in the the street ( on a Sunday and Monday night ) 6. Room not cleaned next day.

Our host Steve was superb, nothing is too much trouble for him. If you want an elegant, stylish place to stay, you’ve found the right spot. I am extremely fussy and I couldn’t find any faults.

"A nice place to have a getaway and disconnect"

My room has a sea view and was fantastic, very clean, friendly host and the hotel decoration was beautiful, I loved how it was following different books of classic literature. My room had air conditioning which was amazing!

Breakfast could do a bit of improvement in terms of variety.
