On Main Street - can walk to downtown. Parking included. Modest property but clean and comfortable nrd.

Bathroom could use some updating

It’s nothing fancy but the beds were comfy and the location was good.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was fantastic. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The walkability to the entire Bar Harbor area was very convenient. As well the location provided easy access to Acadia National Park. Would highly recommend.

The total experience was great, but what made the biggest difference was Janique’s personal attention. She gave us great suggestions of where to eat and places to visit that we would have missed otherwise. The only disappointing thing was that the bed is sagging.

We stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary, and the Main Street Motel welcomed us with the sweetest celebratory surprise and a basket of Maine-themed treats. It was amazing! The hotel itself is very cozy and is in a great location. It may look like a standard motel on the outside, but inside, it feels clean, bright, and updated. We were given a corner room on the top floor, which was awesome because it had two windows and, thus, let in a lot of light. The front desk office has a coffee machine and breakfast items/snacks that are available to guests free of charge 24/7, which is fantastic if you want to head into Acadia National Park early in the morning before restaurants open. The hotel is located toward the end of the main streets, which means it is a little removed from all the chaos but still very walkable to everything (~10 minutes to the majority of the restaurants/bars/shops).

When we checked in, we were given a tag for our car that identified us as guests of the hotel. We assumed this meant we had a reserved parking spot. What we didn't realize is that the hotel's parking lot also appears to allow other people to pay for parking, so I think our tag only granted us free parking, not reserved parking. We came back after a late dinner to find no spots available, and to make matters worse, it was dark and pouring rain. Having to scramble to find parking late at night in the rain when we weren't expecting to was not ideal. We only drove to dinner because it was raining hard and we thought we had a guaranteed parking spot upon our return.

Loved this motel. It was remodeled, clean and very comfortable bed in the heart of Bar Harbor. Great location and helpful staff
