Main Street Motel

Overall, nice hotel. I have no basis to compare to other hotels in Bar Harbor since only stayed here, but I thought the rooms would be a little nicer than they were. Perhaps we got a room that hadn't been renovated yet. Overall, it was fine, but I expected a little nicer property for the cost. The staff in the office were very friendly.

We didn't plan to spend a lot of time in our room because we had so much to do and see. Main Street Motel provided basic accommodations at a reasonable price. Our room on the first floor was clean and comfy, and we were able to park right by our room door. Safe location and in easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping, parks, ice cream. Friendly staff and 24/7 coffee, water and snacks in the main office. Would stay here again.

We chose MSM for its close proximity to downtown Bar Harbor. We ere able to walk to everything which made our stay much more relaxing. The motel has been updated and was kept very clean. The staff was friendly and responsive.

This location was amazing. Hot coffee and tea every day. Snacks always in office. The location cannot be beat. I cannot wait to go back. Friendly staff and comfy beds.

Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean room. Nice amenities included beverages and snacks in reception area. Sheets were on the rough side but bed was very comfortable. Such a plus to have parking pass available prior to check-in!

Way overpriced for what it was. Clean but bathroom worn and rusty, chipped up IKEA- level furniture. But a walkable location. Reminded us of an overpriced motel for a Big 10 college weekend.
