Gem Beachfront Apt With Amazing Bay and Sea Views

Having stayed in the apartment several times it never disappoints one bedroom with fabulous pull out bed in the main area. Well equipped kitchen pleasantly decorated fabulous views.

We have stayed several times now in Gem apartments, great location, lovely views great facilities apartment is mordern well equipped.

Automated correspondence is rubbish better to ring the contact number staff are extremely helpful. Speak very good English. Messaged the service centre and asked to check in early but kept getting n automated response. Then there was an issue with check in access codes not sent stated was a problem with booking. However after getting extremely frustrated rang the contact number spoke with staff wasn't an issue gained access straight away although wasted the first day of the holiday sitting around waiting

Size and layout of apartment

The bed which has been reported numerous times over the past two years was very uncomfortable and noisy. Major roadwork’s directly outside the premises which woke us up up at 6.30am and continued right through till 6.30pm . You couldn’t sit on the balcony primarily due to the noise level and dust . The drilling caused the whole building to shake . It made our stay very uncomfortable and relaxing in the apartment was impossible. Work commenced in January 2025 and should have been made aware of this!!! If you are planning staying here I would recommend you book elsewhere as work is expected to continue for months outside the apartment!!!

Location

All good

The apartment is large and fully equipped. Double balconies, the one at the back great for drying clothes. Plenty of places to eat or get coffee. McSims pie shop (beneath) and Starbucks (a couple of doors away) open early 7 days. Cherries takeaway and a vegan friendly coffee shop close by, very good. Three grocery stores within 5 minutes walk.

Bus stop right outside (good) but suspended for some routes including 82 (to Valletta) due to road construction. No fault of the apartment. At busy times often people standing around outside the entrance.

The smells of mold and the bed was too soft and noisy

Very clean and comfortable.

The apartment is exactly like the photos. The kitchen had everything we need to cook our meals. There is a bus stop right in front of the apartment.

There was to much noise at night. The cleanliness was not perfect.

Everything is perfect for me. This apartment is near waterfront when you stand in balcony you can enjoy the scenery with sea.

One point can improve is shower.
