Beautiful Mexican interior courtyard, stairways, fragrance of cooking, simple but elegant rooms, attentive, friendly staff, excellent bed, super clean. Responsive to guests needs. Location is perfect to walk to everything.

Front desk staff were aloof and it felt like an imposition to ask a question. Cleaning staff is EXCELLENT. I am very atuned to cleanliness and our room, although very old, was spotless. We left after one night because although I knew there were stairs, I didn't know there would be 3 flights. That, coupled with the altitude (I live at sea level so the 6,000 foot elevation proved difficult), made it unpleasant. Also, there was nowhere to sit and relax between outings.
