Villa A Canggu

The property was as per the description advertised and had a lovely atmosphere. There was a laundry a short walk a walk and gojecks easily assessable.

There was a bedroom door upstairs that did not lock.

The staff were excellent, very communicative and responsive. The villa had a nice aesthetic, and felt like a home away from home. Beds were very comfortable. We had a private in Villa meal which was very delicious, and the daily cleaning service was excellent. The pool was amazing (for the most part). The walk into Canggu, and nearby restaurants most days was lovely, and convenient. The water cooler was a nice touch, with very cold water.

While the aesthetic was appealing, and trendy it was not very functional and comfortable(apart from the beds which were super comfortable). The seating in the lounge area was not comfortable for lounging around or watching tv. The dining table wasn't accomodating for a family of 6 due to only having two chairs, and a bench on the other side. There was no microwave in the kitchen, which is a big deal if you have children. The location in terms of access to the villa, was down a narrow road, shared by bikes and gojeks, and was tricky to walk down with luggage or at night, to the main road as cars couldn't get there.There was construction going on around but that's not the villas fault. The villa next door was extremely noisy at night on several nights we were kept up by fireworks. We had issues with the pool, and couldn't use it for some parts of 3 days. The staff did make an effort to fix it as soon as we brought it to their attention, but it still meant we had to find other things to do on a hot day, on more than one occasion. The showers didn't drain properly. If you are spending minimal time at the villa, a lot of these would not be concerns, but if you have planned a lazy, relaxing time to hang out in the villa for the most part, the cracks are apparent. Overall, a good stay, and we enjoyed our experience.

Great location and villa is clean

Nice interior design

No water supply in midnight, the shower place is kinda rundown and required maintanence, butler is not working on a Saturday , quite narrow and dark to walk to main road for grab
