I didnt have breakfast sorry! I loved the garden, the location was perfect for the station and the conference venue: Bijlokekaai 7 Friendly, helpful staff/owners

Its mainly my fault for not watching the video, but there are so many key boxes it took me a while, and help, to find the right one. I was the only guest, for several nights, but on one occasion there was a woman also staying. I was able to reassure her, and it certainly helped that we were at the same conference, and I was able to make sure she knew exactly who I was and who we knew in common, but I felt that it did put her in a slightly vulnerable position staying in the property with a man she did not know. I wonder if theres anything that could have been done to make that easier for her.

The room was much larger and nicer than the pictures gave it credit for.

Spent a week here visiting Gent and also Antwerp, Bruges, and Brussels. It was a very comfortable stay with great service and breakfasts. The room was roomy and lovely. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Great location, very nice and interesting interior. Very friendly host. The bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately the public toilet was not cleaned, same as the floor in our room ( sticky and dirty ). The toilet in the room is in the open space, right behind the bed (no walls) so this set up is not the best for privacy nor hygiene. The walls are very thin so you can hear all activities from your neighbors.

Peaceful,beautiful, and good people. Glen, thank you so much for everything. He made an amazing breakfast, and he gave real information about Gent. We followed him, and we got excited about the experience of Gent. Glen gave warm hospitality to us. We will remember beautiful Gent with Glen.

The steps are too stiff.

We received a warm welcome with our check-in. The property is beautiful and so green. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and the bed was amazing which was perfect after a long day of sight-seeing. You are a short walk from the city centre and other amenities as well as the train station. Very well situated.

There was nothing that we didn't like. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The room was very clean. We didn't get to appreciate the garden as we were out sight seeing mostly but it looked lovely. Good position for train station access. A special mention to Marie who is a great asset to the business. She also provided a lovely breakfast and was good chat too.

The semi open plan ensuite may not be to everyone's taste - still good to have an ensuite though.

Stunning peaceful haven in the middle of the city - amazing bath and bed - ultimate comfort!

It is a very clam and relaxing place. Looking at the green backyard and listening the songs of the birds made us so happy. We felt like at home and will definetly would like to stay there in our next trip to Ghent.
