Maven's Inn & Grill

Pros: affordable, the room is a nice size And has practical amenities. The bed is very comfortable which is everything. It’s nice and functional. Cons: it’s a little loud and staff knocked twice on my door to hurry me along towards check-out. Note: it was definitely before checkout.

I added an adjoining pet friendly room last minute - they were super accommodating and got us the room. Both rooms were clean and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks again - we will be back!

The room was really clean, good service, only issue was the insulation between rooms is very thin and you could hear everything 😔, we were in a party that we didn't want to be also the road is a bit noisy but my ear plugs worked for that it didn't worked with a bed bagging late at night.

We haven't stayed in Canyon Lakes before and wanted a place to stay that had a bar/restaurant. We also enjoyed the live music. Our room was spacious, looked newly remodeled and had a very comfortable bed. The only downside was that the shower was small, other than that, we had a relaxing time.

Great place, great staff, easy to get to, quiet in the rooms even though there is alot around. Lots of parking. Lots of places to walk our dog. Definitely reccomend!

My family and I enjoy going to Maven’s Tuesday night for dinner, drinks, and bingo (cash prizes)! The food is always fresh and delicious, the bartender makes great mixed drinks as well! There is a HUGE patio/yard/tables with a stage in the back. We can’t wait for the weather to cool down and hang out in the back (several heaters around the back patio). My only complaint is- my husband has Celiac Disease and they do not offer any GF bread for burgers or sandwiches. So he has to eat before going. Otherwise- Maven’s a great new place on the south side of the lake!

Stopped in after day of boating on Canyon Lake and ate on the back patio. Beautiful trees, live band and fantastic food! Smashburgers, Sweet Potato fries and Bacon mac & cheese really hit the spot! Bonus… Maverick, the resident kitty was cute as could be.
