How intimate and welcoming it was. Food was amazing, good catering for our mix of gluten-free, cows milk free, vegetarian.

Rooms are hard to navigate with a wheelchair

Lovely little cosy room in a nice ane quiet location, nice and comfortable bed, great tea and coffee facilities, streaming services on the tv, and the pub is literally a few steps away. The breakfast in the morning was great, lots of choices and service was great!

The shower was a bit cold, and on arrival the room was a little cold too, we turned the radiator on but it didn't get warm, we found it was warm in the morning so because of that and the shower not getting warm I can only guess that the boiler was quite a distance away from us, so hot water took ages to travel down to our room, but we weren't cold during the night and we did have a good sleep

Difficult to find

Very welcoming. Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean. The accommodation has its own door, you don’t need to go through the pub to access your room. The WiFi works both in the room and in the pub. The shower in the en-suite is excellent and quite powerful. No tv in the room and the hot drinks machine is great. A great place to stay if you’re in the area.

The only thing that might put you off is that there is no tv (I was delighted!)

When we arrived at the property it was closed, we sat outside and rang them for over a hour and went straight to voice mail. We drove five hours to get here and had to stay somewhere else
