Old world pub with modern rooms nice spin ..

I’m like quaint pubs and the collapsable kettle !! You need to go .. I’ve stayed in 100’s of hotels/b&bs etc loved it made my stay

Room was really quaint, clean and perfect for our overnight stay. With the authentic proper country Free House Pub only a few step from our room it was perfect for grabbing a quick drink and a lovely meal in the evening. Set in a small quiet village, which was exactly what we were looking for. The food by the way was awesome and it was all in all great value for money. The Lamb Belly Scrumpet and Pork with Haggis Scotch egg starters were superb, as was the breakfast that was included in the extremely great value price. Host was really accommodating. We Will be back.

No complaints at all. Maybe just to have a toilet brush available in the room?

Beautiful location and beautiful countryside. Being dog friendly is a huge bonus, for us. The breakfasts were excellent! We were sorry that we didn't have the opportunity to have other meals there. I guess it just means we'll have to go back again, soon. Although we stayed here for a family occasion, we did get to go to Chew Lake, nearby, which was beautiful, and there are many other things to do and areas to explore. Comfy bed and great shower. We were extra spoilt with the beautiful spring weather.

Very little not to like. Being very picky, I would say it would be helpful to have a short clothes rail (rather than hangers on hooks) and perhaps a small bench rather than the armchair. The Velux windows were a little tricky to open and close.

Everything! The pub is so cute and the pod is so modern our host is lovely the food very tasty and the views A!mazing..we are coming back
