Guest House Capital Inn by Vallettastay

UBICACIÓN: EXCELENTE, queda cerca de la puerta de entrada a La Valletta lo cual te facilitará ir a otros lugares de la isla además de que está en pleno centro histótrico así que estás en el mejor lugar. COMODIDAD: MALA porque la cama es muy incómoda y pequeña, tiene un cubre colchon de plástico que es de lo más incómodo además que suena toda la noche cuando te mueves, la TV NO funciona y el baño se le sale toda el agua cuando te duchas. ESTADO DEL ALOJAMIENTO: BUENO para haber viajado solo, ya que tiene mesita para poner equipaje y aunque es simple la decoración es linda y en buen estado el mobiliario. SERVICIO: EXCELENTE ya que el personal es muy muy amable educado y tienen guardaequipaje, LO MALO es que este está a 7 minutos caminando ntre subidas y bajadas.

We had to relocate rooms when we first arrived because the condition of the first room was poor. Some parts of the wall were covered in mold and the room smelled.

Cleaner was very kind, and mostly restocked our coffee and tea every day ("mostly" meaning we didnt get milk/sugar on some days). The location is great, right in the center of Valletta, in walking distance from everything.

Entire inn was riddled with humidity, and combined with the cold temperatures it had black mold growing in both our room and our bathroom. (AC would be a big positive if it didn't contribute to the growth of mold). The mold and humidity were triggering my asthma alot, so i HIGHLY recommend you NOT going here, if you suffer from asthma!! - the humidity also left a nasty smell in our clothes, and made the beds nasty to sleep in. The smell is also the first thing you notice when you enter your room. The shower also was missing a curtain or glass door, so the water would run into the bedroom from under the door. Even with a towel laid on the floor to stop some of it. (If only one person showers with a towel on the floor it's fine, but will still run into bedroom if more than one person.

The only thing that we liked about our stay in Capital Inn was its location. Everything else was a disaster and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Where to start even?! There numerous issues we experienced during our recent stay at CAPITAL INN. The series of events that transpired throughout our stay were not only unacceptable but also caused significant discomfort and distress during our vacation. First day we woke up to find a severe leakage that had soaked the entire floor of our room. All of our belongings, including shoes, bags, and suitcases, were completely wet. You can imagine the frustration. Despite the initial report, the leaking persisted into the second day. I had to contact the staff again, and although a worker was sent to fix the issue, the repair process was extremely loud and disruptive. On the evening of the third day, around 21:00/22:00, we experienced a complete water outage that lasted until 14:00 the following day. When I contacted customer support, they were clueless about the situation and could not provide a clear timeline for when the water service would be restored, adding to our stress and uncertainty. Next day I was rudely awakened by a strange phone call at 08:00 AM! It turned out that it was was customer service employee of CAPITAL INN who didn't even explain herself properly and did not even ask if it is a good time for her to call. She wanted to ask me some irrelevant questions about renting bike??? This unprofessional behaviour was absurd and entirely inappropriate. The fact that I had to reach out to the staff almost every single day of our stay due to various issues with the apartment is beyond unreasonable. This was meant to be a relaxing holiday, but instead, it turned into a series of stressful events due to the dysfunctional state of the property and the poor quality of customer service.
