Ayuna Suites Canggu

Nice guesthouse, very quiet at the end of a road. Staff is very friendly and tries to keep everything clean. Big and clean pool.

Small plot, so all the guest are very close to each other. I booked the last available room. The room was very small, dark and with lots of mosquitoes. Moved out one night earlier. It was the worst room I ever had in Canggu for one of the highest prices.

I loved Ayuna so much that I extended my stay by a month! There are quite a few people that always come here when in Bali, or staying long term so it has this “community” feel to it (still private though). The location is very central, but the place is really quiet (there is no construction or traffic or bars to be heard as it’s in a quiet alleyway, but very safe to walk down on). The staff is always around to help if needed and keeping the place clean. The entrance door is locked (you use pin to enter) so feels very safe. The pool and garden is amazing, always has space to lie down. Many people work here so it’s quiet, but also easy to make friends in the communal kitchen and have some drinks. The room si super clean and spacious and the bathroom is huge and also very clean. all in all amazing place!

There isn’t anything I particularly didn’t like, but one thing I’d say is the fridge is quite small for the amount of guests and there are no dedicated sections for each room so things often get mixed up, go off, etc. and it can cause some misunderstandings between the guests. So there should be a better system like dedicated sections or containers for each room so this doesn’t happen. Another thing is the value for money ratio, while I do think it’s a great place to stay, there should be better discount for long term stay and also if you pay directly. Currently, the cost is little high compared to other places in the area and it’s pretty much the same on Booking as it is direct. I feel loyalty should be rewarded and for this reason I probably won’t stay again long term as it’s really REALLY expensive for this area (for context I’ve stayed here long term due to an injury and limited mobility so if that’s your case, I’d highly recommend, but if it wasn’t for that, I’d go for a more affordable option).

Lovely place, everything is new and clean. There is a common area with kitchen. Good location.
