Superlative Apartment with Valletta and Harbour Views

The property is directly on the road facing the harbor. Great location in walking distance to many restaurants and facilities.

The apartment appears very sparse with limited artwork and nothing of interest in the unit. Felt like a big box door set up. All functionable but €1000 would make this apartment be much better. The shower in the hall bathroom does not drain completely, the back bedroom had no remote for the TV, and what is available to cook or have dishes, we’re in limited supply. It also would be much helpful to have a manual with operating instructions for all appliances, AC, and television.

Great location, fabulous views. Large modern apartment with good facilities. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend the apartment, being in mind other comments made.

There wasn't anyone to meet us to check us in, and we wasted an hour trying to get access to the apartment block and then into the apartment itself, as the instructions, pass code and apartment key box location provided were completely wrong. The property agent didn't know the correct code or key location either. We only finally gained access thanks to a local resident. For those coming after, the access door is the last one on the block (not Block E), the door pass code has 4 digits, not 5 digits (drop the first digit) and the apartment key box is outside the apartment on the 7th floor, not on the 2nd floor. On arrival, the apartment was reasonably clean but not spotlessly clean (cigarette ash on the balcony, some kitchen utensils not perfectly cleaned, unflushed toilet on arrival). Also, it was good to have handwash, shower gel and shampoo provided, even though some of these were very obviously watered down. The cooker included an integrated microwave, which we only realised after two days, after thinking there was no microwave, even though one was listed. It would have been useful if this had been mentioned beforehand. There was a lot of construction going on in the area, but we knew this before we went and it didn't bother us as we were out each day. The local building noise during the day would be an issue for anyone planning to spend full days on the balcony admiring the superb views!

Terrific view of the harbour, great location for accessing local restaurants, buses and the ferry to Valletta, a balcony, good size rooms and ensuites for each of the 2 bedrooms. Ample cupboards in each bedroom to store clothes.

The water pressure in the apartment is terrible. The kitchen faucet water was so minimal it was difficult to wash dishes and the shower pressure was also very low. The bath towels did not smell nice and were very thin. Not in keeping with the ‘deluxe’ description. The kitchen was equipped with minimal supplies and a lot of street noise with the balcony door open. The AC did not work well either. There are also several complaints shared by previous renters over a year+ that continue to be ignored, e.g. only 2 chairs on the balcony for an apartment that fits 4 people.

Location and view, perfect.

Wifi a bit hit and miss in back bedroom. Apartment needs airing, slight smell of damp. IMO the bathroom towels/tea towel need to be put through a hotter wash.
