"Local charm in the mountains"

The location was fabulous. In the hills, next to farms and cows. The food in the restaurant is very fresh and local. We were there in Fall and as the hunting season was on, we got to taste some local venison.

The only thing I would say is to plan your day around the bus schedule. Bus 106 comes to Habkern from Interlaken. If you miss the last bus, you may have to take a cab ride which is about 30 Swiss Francs.

The staff are friendly, and the price is very affordable compared to others in the same area. The breakfast is nice too!

The bus from Interlaken West to Habkern is not frequent (ie. with 1hr interval). There is no bus between 7pm to 10pm.
