"Stylish New Zealand hospitality and great value"

Beautiful , quiet house and room. Extremely comfortable bed and stylishly furnished room. Breakfast was high quality and eggs cooked to order. Jane is a wonderful host and recommended two great restaurants. We had a view of the river from our room Tolaga. The wine, coffee and snacks available in the guests kitchen made it extremely good value. Highly recommend

We had no problem with the stairs but worth knowing all four rooms are upstairs if you have mobility issues.

"terrible. it is not a 5 star hotel"

the owner gave us her worst room. a very small bedroom, rickety door. shared bathroom and communal citchenette. she told us that because we nade the reservation thrugh booking, she loses money. so she punished us. the beds were very narrow and too soft matress. we could not sleep

breakfast was delicious. the room was comfortable and spacious. bathroom spotlessly clean. hostess was lovely.

could have done with a blanket in the room as the duvet was a little too hot
