Cute Remarkable quirky 2 Bed House in Derby

The stay didn't happen as the host cancelled 4 hours before we were due to check in. He then said he was struggling to refund my rental plus my £800 security deposit. He said his bank app wouldn't work. Now he won't answer his phone and won't reply to WhatsApp messages. He replied to WhatsApp messages straight away when he wanted the security deposit. Feels like a scam to me.

Great bathroom, lovely little property. Would use again

Beds could do with new mattresses, especially the double bed. Also the choice of bedding is questionable.

Clean and uncluttered. Near the center of the village. Had everything we could require and nicely decorated.

Small and the access road /pavement is really rough and parking is limited.

Location and convenience. It is a nice place but some minor maintenance issues which i don't think will need a lot of work

Tried to use dryer and it's water tank was full and filters clogged. Appliances needs some tlc and some maintenance required around the property, eg. Blinds not opening and closing, some cracked tiles bathroom and kitchen.

The interior decor is beautiful. House has a lovely feel. Everything you could need for short stay is available.

A lovely house, near East Midlands Airport and the Skylink bus service. However, the property was not available for use as booked.

On arrival, there was a strong smell of fresh paint throughout the whole bottom floor. The paint was also still tacky to touch. We contacted the owner and he confirmed that decorators had been in the property. He suggested that we open some windows to address the issue. We were unable to use the whole bottom floor of the house (TV/living room and kitchen). The lack of consideration for paid guests and professionalism of the owner was very disappointing.

The house had everything we needed. Was clean and tidy. Perfect little house

It was very homely and welcoming. Accommodated The Who,e family well and was lovely and warm upon arrival.
