Foothills Motel

Love the MCM vibes of the place. The toiletries were surprisingly nice and smelled great. The mini fridge was great and kept drinks cold. AC worked really well and was very quiet! My friends had to move rooms because there was a problem with their AC, but it worked great in their new room.

My room was by a patio where the smokers gathered so I had to keep my windows shut which isn’t my preference. Now that I know, I would request a room away from those patio/seating areas. It’s clever how they saved space in these rooms, like with the kitchenette/closet set up and the pocket doors, but some design choices went past minimal and were just lacking. There was no full length mirror! The closet was also clearly designed by a man, you couldn’t hang up even a knee length dress without it wadding up on the counter area. My friend had a full length dress that was also hard to hang up because of this issue. A pop out butler’s rack mounted above the hanger rail would easily fix that for about $20 or, add some hooks at a height to hang long dresses, and a full length mirror on the big blank white AC wall, and the room would be instantly more functional.

There were no chairs in the room and made it clumsy to eat or work on my computer.

Very clean and nicely decorated.

All good no issues.
