Our room was 2 floors up however the receptionist noticed my mobility struggles and offered us a ground floor room instead. She was so helpful and made our stay so much better

Wasn't much to choose from in the restaurant so we got a takeaway which I was happy to do

Easy to find, clean rooms, helpful staff, value for money.

Can get slightly toasty depending on what sort of person you are. I prefer sleeping in artic conditions, plus they do provide fans!

Being told a private function was on by email on the day of stay...so no access to bar etc.

Location is good, lovely exterior

Windows are so old, can hear everything, the window in our bathroom didn’t close which added to this. You can hear absolutely everything in the corridors. Bed is a small double and really uncomfortable. Staff were not accommodating or friendly (minus the manager), the breakfast was overpriced for a ‘buffet’ that had been sat out too long to enjoy.
