Fantastisch verblijf nabij Silves. Zeer gastvrije eigenaren, prachtige kamers, heerlijk zwembad en een geweldig verzorgd ontbijt. De ideale plek om tot rust te komen en de omgeving te verkennen. Een auto is wel noodzakelijk.

Breakfast, location, service, facilities all first rate. Great place to relax. The outside space (pool & garden) was great.

We had a four night stay here in April 2024. Our stay was perfect! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are fabulous too, lovely white bedding (I hate anything other than that), toiletries in the bathroom, a coffee maker, filtered water refilled daily and more. The room furnishings were lovely too. Kristin, Tobias and their gorgeous dog Tibo were amazing. They served a delicious healthy breakfast daily with some fabulous homemade jams, granola and bread, all made by Kristin. They offered a choice of cooked eggs, omelettes, fried or scrambled as well as croissants, cold meats, cheeses etc etc. Their orange juice was fresh from their own orange trees and delicious. Tobias was always around to spot an empty coffee cup and to refill it, great service. The patio to each room has table and chairs with cushions available in the room. To one side of the property is a delightful swimming pool. The owners played quiet, relaxing music near the pool and offered refreshments from a large fridge with a price list and an honesty box payment. This was a really lovely touch. We didn’t get a lot of time for drinks but would certainly use on a return visit. We thought it was a great idea. The owners had a lovely cleaning lady working for them. She was very friendly and she left our room spotlessly clean each day. We honestly could not fault this place. Kristin and Tobias have made everything just perfect. Such a brilliant stay thanks to them.

Amazing property - the hosts were lovely too. We felt very free and comfortable during our stay. It was a clean property and we had access to mosquito repellent in the room. We also enjoyed the visit to the winery - Quinto dos Santos recommended by the hosts.

Really had a wonderful stay at Quinta Da Luz. Rented a car from Faro and this location was superb. Quiet but within driving distance to so many towns. Travelled all along the Algarve and it never felt like too much of a drive to anywhere. Our hosts Kristin and Tobias were super friendly and their PDF guide which was provided ahead of our arrival gave us some great recommendations. The breakfast was lovely each morning and the pool was perfect in terms of size/temperature. With a small number of guests staying there, it really felt like we had the place to ourselves. The honesty bar was really handy as you could help yourself to drinks/snacks from the fridge and pay a tab at the end of the visit. The wifi was strong. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds super comfy. Highly recommend staying there if a busy party town isn't your vibe.
