Lovely house with little extras in the room. Appreciated the attention to a ‘green environmental’ and sustainable business approach. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was easy and the owners had fairly priced this within a city.

Beautiful building., tasteful refurbisment to suit the period of property. Although situated on a main road it was exceptionally quiet. Close walking distance to the minster . There is a very good system of choosing your main breakfast options on a pre printed leaflet to submit to the chef . Breakfast was very well organised with a wide range of foods to suit all . All very well presented with attention to detail . I noticed lots of information to promote and support the city of york and other attractions within the locality. The owners were able to give recommendations regarding local cuisine options to suit all tastes. Overall a warm welcoming place to stay.
