Virginia Water Family Getaway

It was a lovely property, great location and attentive hosts. We really loved the place which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and our hosts showed great attention to detail!

The only issues we had was that there were so many rules and regulations which made us all a little nervous at times. We also seemed to get daily reminders of these before and during our stay via booking.com which became quite irritating. We felt the check in and out times, 4pm and 10am were a little restrictive especially as they were rigorously enforced such as £100 fine if we were a minute late in checking out. That can easily become a problem, if for instance, you are awaiting a taxi which is late showing up. With such a late check in we think that a standard 11am or 12 noon check out would be more acceptable. We found the E-key system a bit of a negative as it was hit and miss, probably our phone signal was sometimes poor, so it didn’t always work, but at least there was a key backup. These points are not meant as a criticism but more of a constructive appraisal based on our experience. We really do understand the need to protect such a nice property but without needing to be told so many times in such detail.

There is nothing to hate.

The location was perfect to our friends wedding venue. We found the house to be a home away from home, really clean and had everything we needed. A really lovely and quiet area which suited us perfectly!
