Villa Popi on the beach of Agios Gordios

Komfortables Haus mit großzügigem Garten und vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten draußen. Gastgeber extrem gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und kommunikativ.

Küchenutensilien könnten zahlreicher sein (z. B. kein Schneidebrett vorhanden).

Leider wurde das Haus zwei Tage vor der Anreise vom Eigentümer storniert. So mussten wir kurzfristig eine neue Unterkunft suchen, dadurch natürlich deutlich teurer.

Brīnišķīga vasaras māja, bet bija ļoti labi arī oktobrī- novērtējām, ka vēsajās naktīs varējām ieslēgt apkuri. Māja atrodas tuvu jūrai un galvenajai ielai, bet ir noslēpta no apkārtējo skatieniem un klusa. Saimniece Olga bija ļoti laipna- sagaidīja mūs ar saldumiem, vīnu, ūdeni, pašas gatavotu desertu un atrisināja visas mūsu problēmas.

Man hat einfach alles, was man gebrauchen könnnte, die Lage ist perfekt und die Gastgeber sind wirklich die nettesten, die man sich vorstellen kann! Sie haben auf alle meinen Anfragen und Wünsche sofort reagiert - ich habe wirklich selten so hilfsbereite Gastgeber gehabt!

De locatie was fantastisch, 5 minuten van het strand en 2 minuten van de straat met restaurantjes en winkeltjes . Rondom het huis allerlei plekjes om heerlijk te zitten . De host Olga was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Nice house to stay in, if you're staying at the beach in Agios Gordios. Short walk to everything. The turtles on the property were adorable.

Great villa well equipped and comfortable close to everything

Generally, the villa is very well appointed and very clean. 2 large bedrooms with comfortable beds and excellent air-con. Adequate indoor seating area, and excellent sunbeds and so on in the garden. Although completely surrounded by other properties, it is mostly very quiet and secluded, although with intermittent building work nearby. Some very good restaurants within 10 min walk – far more than Booking.com suggested. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but with reservations.

The villa is hard to find, being 250m from the road down a narrow, badly-maintained zig-zag path , not for wheelchairs or the infirm. It is not “on the beach”, which is 5-10 mins walk down the main street. For those with a car, parking looked very hit-and-miss on the main street Communication with the owners was very poor: instructions provided by the agency were either unhelpful (no directions to find the property) or wrong (linen change every 2 days was untrue… no change in our 6 days). Telephone number for owner was usually unanswered, and it took 3 days before we met the owner (who was charming), to fix shower and internet. Missing details let down the hire (eg, a good washing machine, but no detergent, lovely bathroom but no spare toilet paper, efficient iron but no ironing board)

This place is amazing! - Spacious - Great location - Very private and quiet - All the necessary amenities you might need - The owner was excellent and very communicative and even left us some local wine, treats, water and icecubes - There are turtles! With little hatchlings! Also, a very friendly neighbourhood cat. The turtles like watermelon and grapes, and the cat likes yellow cheese :) - Nice patio and sunbed area to relax - Mosquito nets on each door/window - Hot water all day around - For a weeks stay the place was very clean and cleaners came once to clean while we were away - There is street parking which is very busy and hard to maneuver in, but there is public parking nearby that always had space - Amazing value for money, especially for 4 people

These are mainly nitpicks, the place in general was amazing and definitely worth booking. - Shower water pressure, although good, was a bit temperamental, changing pressure by itself. But this is fairly common in islands.
