The Olde Ship Inn

Fab place to stay, excellent location especially with their Harbour View Bar behind it, perfect for chilling with a glass of wine overlooking the harbour and staff were lovely and friendly, breakfast was lovely.

the location was very handy for facilities and boat trips. Car parking was problematic, involving a walk in the rain and arguments with the parking meter. It's a characterful hotel with good beer and decent food.

Wonderful stay in a characterful hotel We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel, which is full of charm and character. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent throughout our stay, with great quality and plenty of choice. The location is also ideal—situated right near the harbour, it’s perfect for exploring the area and enjoying the views. We’ve stayed here before and it never disappoints. It’s a place we always look forward to returning to, and we will definitely be back again in the future. Highly recommended!

Let us leave bags early and then in fact allowed us yo check in early. Dinner fantastic. Breakfast (included) was amazing. Great shower. Big bed.

Eine wundervolle Unterkunft. Klein, aber für eine Person vollkommen ausreichend. Sehr nettes Personal, hilfsbereit und ein tolles Frühstück. Auch das Essen im Restaurant ist hervorragend. Super Lage mit Blick auf die Nordsee, vor allem vom Biergarten aus.

Breakfast was good full english filled me till dinner time, the room a little small but that was fine just two night, location was excellent for me great place to visit the Farnes and Lindisfarne/holy Isle, Bamburgh castle Location brill

I basically only one negative, which ruined my first night, that was a leaky cistern ball valve in the on suite, was running all night which kept me awake, this meant having to use the toilet across the hall, annoying as I believe the management knew about for some time, Could do with another socket near the bed or have sockets with USB, my scores are effected solely due to the cistern leak
