Quirky pub. Friendly staff. Great location. Very generous breakfast and lovely evening meal. Treasure trove of maritime history.

A little bit of noise with door slamming late at night . To increase ventilation window opened but Kitchen smells very strong .

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return some day"

Great location for the local area

Just a small thing really. The bath was quite high. This didn’t cause us any issues but for someone less mobile they may find using the bath difficult.

"Unique, lovely atmosphere, worth every penny."

10.0

Such a unique and beautiful place to stay. Literally felt like entering a ship. The overall vibe of this hotel was immaculate. The entire place was spotless. The staff were great. The room was spacious and very bright and airy, good shower and toilet; both with fantastic water pressure, nice refreshments; water replenished daily as well as tea, biscuits etc. The location of this place is one of the best around the Seahouses area, it’s directly opposite the harbour to catch a boat to the Farne islands, a couple minutes away from several restaurants, shops, cafes and parking areas right across the street. About a 5 minute drive to the main area of the beach and a few minutes drive away from the castle too. The highlight was the food, one of the best dinner my partner and I have had during our travels around the UK, which is especially impressive since it was just burger and chips, the staff were so friendly and were making us laugh, you can tell they have a good staff culture there since they seemed to all genuinely enjoy being there and clearly get on well with eachother as well as the customers. Attached is an image of our dinner and breakfast. Overall, I highly recommend this place. My partner and I came here for our anniversary so it was high stakes and it did not disappoint! We will likely come back again next year for our anniversary again, 10/10.

The bed was a little creaky and loud at times in the night when rotating or sitting up, the mattress was also a bit springy and thin.

"Enjoyed our break."

Loved the charm of the Ship Inn. Staff were fantastic and food amazing. Nothing was too much for the staff. Thank you so much.

Our mattress was not great, forcing us to role to the middle of the bed. We informed staff and this was to be replaced.
