François-Denis Apartments

This little apartment was very clean, and updated. Nice little kitchen. Good location fairly near the Mont Royal metro stop. Lively neighborhood filled with youngish people, funky shops and restaurants. Lots of variety. Easy to get in, host was on top of things. Good power outlet availability and WiFi was ok.

It was small enough that I just wasn’t comfortable. The only shelf in the place was supposed to be for eating (very narrow, your nose would be a foot from the wall), but my husband used it for a desk. There were no drawers for anything except in the bathroom. We’re on a five week road trip, and have too much stuff. Thus, suitcases and bags littered the floor in the bedroom and living room.

Excellent location, responsive staff, easy check in and check out!

Beds were a bit firm

Location, facilites, cleanliness. Quiet and safe. Speedy response from owner when there was an small issue. It had kettle, good coffee maker and toaster.

Mattress cd have been higher, perhaps, additional pillows. It's on the first floor with a narrow steep spiral staircase.

This was the first time my husband and I visited Montreal and the location and space could not have been more perfect. The apartment was homey while also being open. The balcony was a great place to people watch. We were so happy with the shower, the pressure and hot water were both spot on. This building is on a main road and our room faced that direction, so there was some noise but that was part of the charm. In the end it didn't interfere with a good night sleep. The location as mentioned is ideal, close to the metro and lots of area restaurants. This is an easy walking city and we took full advantage of walking through the area until later in the evening. We used the metro for all of our transportation to other parts of the city as it very easy to navigate. The place was easy to locate and if you do purchase parking as we did, its right behind the building in the alley way. It took us a minute to find, but we just called and they helped us figure it out. We were not familiar with Montreal alley ways, but now we are pros and the confusion was all on my part. All in all we loved the apartment and would totally stay there again.

Great Location! Kitchen is fine, shower was great, bed was comfortable. Reasonably quiet.

Biggest issue: really bad internet connection in our apt., connection cut out all the time. Minor issues: curtains didnt block out lights, apt. not soundproof (noise from apt above), wasn't a big fan of the balcony, lack of seating choices, TV too small.

Die Lage in einem belebten Viertel von Montréal war perfekt. Fußläufig zur Innenstadt, trotzdem ruhig. Schönes und helles Appartement. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Die Treppe zum Appartement war sehr eng, mit großen Koffern etwas schwierig. Bad bzw. Toilette war nur mit einer sehr dünnen Schiebetür.
