Relais des Mélèzes

Location was good, room was clean and bed was comfortable.

On arrival the host was sharp due to a booking oversight (their error not ours). The room did look lovely but the mezzanine floor access in the forest room was not practical, when the ladder to access the mezzanine floor was in place it was impossible to open the bathroom door which meant the ladder had to be taken away and replaced again each time the bathroom was used, either that or use the bathroom with the door open, not practical with teenagers, sliding door would have been much better. Also the ladder was much narrower at the top which they found tricky when getting down. The bathroom was functional but dated. Stayed 1 night, wouldn't have wanted to stay longer.

Beautiful setting facing over village centre. Fantastic, quaint room in the top of the building.

It would have been nice to have breakfast, but TBH, it was probably more rewarding to venture out to the café

Really friendly and welcoming host - great contact before and during the visit. Lovely position, lovely room and delicious dinner and very friendly waitress.

Very comfortable. Excellent hosts. Very welcoming and helpful. Delicious food.
