When I booked the room got one price but when I showed up had to pay a different price.

I'm not rating this against 5 star hotels, but against other hotels of its kind. It's cheaper and better-managed than most other hotels in the long-term category, and much cleaner. This property is managed well, and has long-term occupants. There are strict rules, which keeps the place as quiet as one can expect in a hotel, and fairly clean. The room itself was very clean. The experience was a new one for me, as this functions less like a hotel and more like a dorm. As long as you just need a clean place to stay that doesn't smell like weed or dog, this does very well. It's in a great location, with lots of stores and groceries a mile or so away.

The room is very spare, without a desk and desk chair. I had to work on my laptop on a small round table with uncomfortable chair. The AC was very loud, drowning out the TV if I was watching. The walls are thin, as expected, but the people next to you are likely going to respect the rules and not be noisy. I was given a housekeeping day, but housekeeping never showed up. My dislikes are mild, and if I needed a long-term stay again, I would rebook here without hesitation.
