River Bend Resort Belize

The property is funky and needs a great deal of work. The manager is extremely helpful and always available. The area is in a park like setting next to the river.

The convenience of this property is its closeness to the airport for sure, but it’s also just a beautiful, relaxing, serene little bungalow heaven. The staff were all so incredibly helpful and it was easy to arrange shuttles wherever we needed to go. There’s a bunch of tours based in Ladyville so getting to the ruins and stuff was also super easy! They’ll pick you up from the hotel! Drinks and snacks were on site for purchase and breakfast was included every morning. I will say it is a riverfront tropical place so prepare for a little bit of mosquito/ant action but they’ve screened the bungalows pretty well to help with it. I would totally recommend this place for anyone planning to fly out the next day or two.

We stayed at this property after arrival and before departure from Belize. It is less than 2 miles from the airport. The facility is currently for sale. One room had a very noisy air conditioner. The other room was very suitable. Staff was very friendly.

Super convenient for the airport and nice and relaxed. It is very close to the airport, so noise of flights (mostly small planes) during the day. Staff were friendly and helpful

River Bend Resort was perfect! Close and convenient to the airport yet in a beautiful jungle setting. My cabana was spacious and comfortable. Kevin was super helpful explaining things about the resort, arranging taxi rides, and even getting dinner delivered for me. I’ll definitely return.

The only staff person we met was very pleasant and helpful in the afternoon/evening. In the morning we waited 30 minutes for our schedled transport. Breakfast was limited. The cabana was dated and run down. I would not recommend except for th low price.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The accommodations were basic but very clean and functional. Would definitely recommend to those coming and going from Belize airport!

Everything broken No gas in stove Impossible to prepare any kind of meal Paid $120 US a night which was ridiculous No knives to prep food, no gas to cook food, etc No water pressure in shower Very little hot water Barely any drinking water The place is for sale and I can see why. Beautiful grounds and great hosts but don’t stay here.

Kevin, the manager was very hard working , positive and welcoming to this ramshackle property. 173 cdn was definitely very overpriced!

Janelle and Kevin are so nice and very attentive to making sure you are well taken care of. They pick you up by boat and bring you to the property. It’s your own little oasis along the river. Great property and even better people managing it.
