Maiala Park Lodge

The property was lovely. Location was great. Staff were very helpful

While there was WiFi it was quite sketchy. It was more an issue because there was no phone service so WiFi is important.

This was my second stay at the lodge. I love the charm of the property and the location is great! It is a peaceful environment.

There was some lack of communication around the check in procedure, which was surprising seeing as my first stay went so well. There was no host on site when I arrived & I did have to wait for them to arrive to be advised which room I was allocated. They blamed booking.com and weren't quite as welcoming as my first stay which was a little disappointing. The pool area was lacking the furniture of my previous visit and appeared unkept this time around.

Fireplace in a cabin, romantic getaway, away from the hussle from city-life... This checks all the boxes! Loved every minute!
