Lakeshore Lodge

We liked it! Got there late but got call from clerk so we knew to pick up our key from the bartender. We were worried it would be noisy since the restaurant and bar looked popular but we heard nothing except the ducks. The lawn between the lodge and lake was super popular with ducks! No AC so we kept the screen door open and it was nice and cool but we did hear the ducks some. Fine by us. The mirror was cool - motion sensing + makeup light. Looked like the room had been refurbished and they did a good job. Some plaster had fallen from the ceiling showing a stained ceiling above but not a big deal. It is a lakeside lodge so we expect a certain amount of “rustic” to go along with the “charm”. The beds were comfortable and the room seemed nice and clean which are the most important things to us along with quiet. Sitting on the balcony looking out on the lake in the morning was very nice, too. Our family enjoyed watching the ducks antics.

No air conditioning, the room was uncomfortable because of how hot it got.

Very quaint, quintessential Oregon Coastal Lodge

The rooms are beautifully done. It was incredibly clean and the housekeeping staff deserves big kudos. The staff was kind. The only complaints I have are the pillows smelled like an old man had rented that room for an extended stay, the fitted sheets don’t quite fit so they don’t stay on and our room was overran with sugar ants. Our 7 year old woke up covered in them. Stay to cost ratio didn’t quite match up but overall it was not terrible- we needed a place to sleep and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant also had great breakfast! We’d definitely come back if they added a hot tub.

Nice motel beside a lake. Good wheelchair room and reasonably priced restaurant.

Liked everything about our stay , except no AC in rooms

Upstairs pet-friendly room was clean, and had a nice balcony with view of the lake. There was also a nice grassy area, that was unfortunately too wet because the sprinklers were on almost constantly.

Couldn't turn on bathtub faucets and had to call for maintenance. Also, we had ants in the room.

Bed was very old and used

New owners are amazing! So nice to see the continued progress.
