Lovely comfortable cottage. Well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Very clean inside and outside. Peaceful location with amazing views. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Harriett for a wonderful stay.

The cottage is set in stunning surroundings – a truly beautiful spot for a relaxing countryside escape. The property itself is charming and well-equipped. The cottage is well renovated in keeping with its heritage. We enjoyed the private garden looking out at the neighbouring land and animals. It’s peaceful and quiet, perfect for anyone looking to switch off and enjoy nature especially with all of the local walks available. There is WiFi at the cottage which we felt was really helpful due to lack of phone signal.

Communication with the hosts wasn’t quite as smooth as we’d hoped based on other reviews – possibly due to limited phone signal in the area. On arrival, there was a dog barking and crying at the adjoining door for a while, however this was a one off. We felt that perhaps adding a blind or curtain in the kitchen would make it feel a bit more private.

Lovely cottage in a very peaceful location and perfect for exploring the beautiful scenery of Exmoor and surrounding coast etc.

Nothing to dislike of any consequence but the downstairs would have benefitted from underfloor heating.

Beautiful and cosy! Would stay again

The cottage is beautifully presented. Very tastefully decorated, beautiful lighting throughout. Lovely kitchen and dining area with the log burner in giving it that extra cosy vibe. Although the weather wasn’t on our side, the view from the cottage was still stunning! We went for a walk around Slowley woods then down to the local pub which served a great pint and delicious food! Some lovely extra touches like the brownies we were greeted with 😊 we weren’t the best prepared and forgotten something we needed to prepare our meal on the first night and hosts were kind enough to give us some 🙌🏻 they were really lovely and very welcoming! We will be back in the spring hopefully 🙏🏻 thank you for the perfect place for our weekend away together!
