Location was great, lovely character to the building and views to die for. Brownies were lovely!

Downstairs got a little cold in the evenings, fine if you were under a blanket. One night I lit the fire which gave the perfect temperature but only enough free logs for one night, I thought I read that logs were supplied for the fire but when I got there they were also charged for. Also, I'm really sorry to say because its nothing you can help but I went for some peace and quiet and the 2 mornings I had a lay in, I was woken up by a young child screaming in the adjoining house. Then downstairs, unfortunately the sofa was very close to where I can only imagine was where the baby had breakfast and dinner which was a noisy time. I appreciate babys make noise but I was hoping for a quiet stay as thats what I had read on your reviews.

Super lovely cottage with beautiful views in the middle of the National Park. Many options for hikes and close enough to all the main sights in Exmoor.

Maybe a sitting area on the grass with the best views would be a nice Addition.

There was nothing I could fault

Lovely cottage, beautiful interior with everything supplied, stunning location. Perfect for a quiet few days away. The homemade brownies were delicious and gratefully received.

Nothing to complain about.

I was looking for somewhere cosy with a log burner, off the beaten track with nice views for my husband and I to end our silver anniversary celebrations and Slowley Farm Cottage came up. It ticked all of the boxes, it was so quiet during our stay, we could hear a pin drop. The cottage was lovely, full of character but with all the mod cons you could require. We didn’t want for anything during our stay. We had plenty to do during our long weekend stay, never venturing more than half an hour by car to anywhere. We pre booked the Royal Oak Inn for Sunday lunch and I was so glad we had as the food was just delicious! We were greeted by the sight of about 15 deer out the front of the cottage when we arrived and we walked to the pub and saw more deer on the way. We will definitely book to stay in the cottage again.
