Casa Positano

The outdoor space was great. Not only for the view, day and night, but being able to relax in the sun or shade without having to go to the beach. The apartment can sleep 2 couples and 1 single or 3 singles. The owner sent a video of how to get to the apartment and when stated how we were arriving, ferry or car service he communicated directions. If arriving by ferry, use the suitcase porter service by port or follow the car not walking directions to get to apartment. Otherwise if you use walking directions it routes you where you will have over several hundreds of stairs to climb to get to apartment.

There are 70 deep stairs plus another 10 in the building to get in and out of the apartment. Also to get in and out of the locked gate you either need a key or use your phone. Our phones would not work to unlock the gate. The owner came by and only left one key which meant if one person wanted to leave, the other person or persons were locked in the apartment until the person with key returned. Because this apartment can sleep 2 couples and 1 single individual, we found this to be unsafe especially if there was an emergency to have to get out. We were only given 1 bath towel per person for our 2 night stay. For the price per night we should have been given fresh towels per night. There were only soap left for 2 loads of laundry. Because the machine can only do small loads, that is only enough for 1 person. The outdoor space needs thicker and comfortable cushions for the wicker sofa. Also for the lounge chairs we didn’t see beach towels to lay down. Having umbrellas to provide shade was great.

So much to love: comfort, style, space, location, and well-equipped.

Beautiful view, nice terrace, host is very nice and helpful.

Sofa bed is absolutely horrible, almost impossible to sleep on. Other folding bed was also terrible. Squeaking of both folding beds is heard across the apartment. Out of 4 people, only 2 managed to sleep properly, so for larger groups it would be very uncomfortable.

the unit was well laid out and had 3 private decks with spectacular views. the apartment was very spacious, especially since we were only two people! Host was easy to contact and responded immediately. the Host recommended we use a porter to carry our bags from the port to the apartment. DO THIS as recommended. (we did not and were very sorry lol). the stairs are too much with suitcases!!!!

a link was sent via text to open the door to the apartment, however I did not have cell service at the location and I did not have internet. I begged internet from a store at the base of the stairs and was able to open the link for the door, and as soon as I did that I heard from the host welcoming us to the unit AND got the internet info needed to resolve getting into the unit.

It was so nice that there were snacks and light breakfast foods waiting for us.

The layout of the bathroom was not great. Four of us shared 1 bathroom because the single room had the only other bathroom. Also both bathrooms had a strange smell.

Spectacular views, friendly and very helpful host, lovely welcome with the basket of food for breakfast, close to all amenities, loved relaxing on the terrace and rooftop.

Maybe add facecloths and an extra blanket or two

The view from the upper patio & the walkway in is absolutely stunning! The best view in Positano. Such a cute place to stay with everything you need. 2 bathrooms was a real bonus. The art is superb. Really enjoyed our stay here. Host kindly let us store our bags for a few hours after checkout too.

Wonderful apartment with beautiful views in Positano. The apartment had a great location between 2 main beaches with amazing views of positano and Spiaggia Grande. Facilities were great. Washing machine and drying rack were useful. Kitchen facilities were nice. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning was very good. Host was super helpful and gracious. We loved our stay here and hope to come back.

The view from the property is amazing! The apartment is exactly how it was described and the owner was very friendly and quick to respond. The apartment is nicely furnished. We were kindly welcomed with wine and food for breakfast the following day. The wine was even restocked half way through our stay. We cannot wait to stay here again

This is minor and did not affect our stay but it would be nice to have olive oil and salt and pepper for cooking. Some of the guests also had trouble finding reception near the gate in order to use the digital key
