TORRE ANGELINA 10&2, Emma Villas

This Villa is wonderful. Each room has its own character and charm and there is lots of space. We stayed a week and enjoyed every minute. It was starting to get cold but we still enjoyed the outdoor area although didn’t venture into the pool which I’m sure would be great in summer. Montecatini is a great central location in Tuscany and we did a number of day trips. The train to Florence was easy and driving (or train) to places like Sienna and Lucca also easy. Communication with the host was great and he even shipped me some things back to the US that I left behind.

Nothing really although finding it was a little confusing and getting in and out of the driveway a bit tricky. The road is not busy though so was all good.

Absolutely lovely property! The villa is situated on a hillside, allowing a small yard for kids to play in, two outdoor seating areas, and a pool. The home is very clean and the beds are modern and very comfortable. Kitchen is very well stocked. Host ensured we arrived to a refrigerator full of water, juice, wine and an antipasti platter. Rooms are beautifully done, with lovely artwork in each. Host was delightful - very friendly but not at all intrusive.

The set up of the home could be awkward for certain groups. There are basically two apartments sharing a kitchen which is part of one of the apartments. The apartments are connected, but that door cannot be opened because there is about an 18 inch difference in floor levels. There is a third section with a small living space, dark and somewhat musty. A very steep staircase leads to a secluded loft- our eldest child did enjoy this. For our group of two close families, it did work well. From an American's perspective, i wished the AC had been a little cooler at night, and the water in the showers a little warmer. However we didn't bother our host about this, because we felt it was our own issue.

Everything was briljant, from the start till the end. The house was even more lovely in reality compared to the pictures. Beautiful bathrooms, very nice outside space, great swimming pool with lovely views. The house is in a neighbourhood, which is lovely for a walk into town, however when sitting at the pool you believe you are somewhere alone in nature. The biggest attraction of the house is the owner though; Daniele, he is the most lovely host you can imagine. Always there to help out, with a smile and a nice word, his English is flawless and he is kindness himself. Very proud of his place but leaves it totally to the group of people to enjoy; we have had a very relaxed stay. We have been exploring the environment by mountainbikes, made beautiful trips through nature and little villages, relaxed at the end of the day at the poolside, BBQ-ed in the evenings and enjoyed the games present in the outside area like very professional table football, table tennis etc. It was a lovely lovely stay and most recommendable!!
