Love the themed rooms and the friendly atmosphere the deer rooming around at twilight was great.

The bed has memory foam topper that was to soft.

Very clean & very old-western type of hotel! Each room has a different theme (camping, skiing, hiking, etc)

Old-style motel & fixtures. Rooms abut gravel lot. Run by a nice family who even provided in-room assistance to connect to WiFi. Nicely situated at edge of foothills. Probably quiet, but hard to tell with the gale that blew down from the mountains our whole time there.

Fun stay. This is an old property from the mid-century "motor court" days. Small rooms with no A/C (rarely need it at this altitude and dry climate), no fridge, and no microwave. But the room was very clean and comfortable though small and simply furnished. Owners were friendly. There are outside chairs, picnic tables, and a deck from which we watched the local mule deer browse around the property. Convenient to Philmont and Eagle Pass/Angel Fire.

Room was simple, but clean and comfortable. Many prior reviews of all properties in this part of Santa Fe remarked on concerns for safety. This is a lesser part of the city, but I never had serious concerns for our safety. This property has a fenced-in parking lot, which made us feel better about our car. Breakfast area was undergoing remodeling, so a variety of Hostess pastries were set out for breakfast, along with bananas, apples, milk/yogurt, juice, and coffee.

This was a nice stop. It could use some updates.

Great hosts, great location. Traveling with 2 large dogs. Perfect place. Please stay here if you are in the area.
