Amazing place to stay. The rooms are perfect and very comfortable. The included breakfast in the morning was wonderful.

Very nice stay is this well maintained property. Even being almost 200 years old, the accommodations were great. The breakfast was amazing!

We stayed for 2 nights in the Antarctica room which was clean and full of nice touches relating to the theme of the room. The house is beautifully furnished and there are plenty of nooks around the house open to guests to relax in, should you wish to. The hosts were very welcoming and the house is extremely close to the harbour area and the main Street for restaurants/cafes or bars (it’s not a big place but fine for a couple of days). One thing that I would draw your attention to is the breakfast arrangements: firstly there is no choice. That said, the food was excellent and all freshly made and the chef is clearly very passionate about cooking and food - but I would still prefer to decide myself, what I eat! Secondly breakfast is at the set time of 8:30am. As someone who enjoys not worrying about alarm clocks on holiday, I felt that this was rather early and inflexible. Many may not mind an early start but again, I would like the choice.

Pangea House is a beautiful hotel in the Thousand Islands. It is such a lovely environment and Geoff is a wonderful host.

BEWARE I had booked a nice trip for my mother's birthday here, but unfortunately the week beforehand I had to have an emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder. Obviously this was unplanned, and since I'm in recovery I can no longer attend the trip. I was fully interested in just moving my trip date to another time at that point. I called the owner and despite the reason, she wasn't very sympathetic. Stated "well this is awkward but I only make the money a few months out of the year." I had stated I was still interested in coming, but at another time. She then advised me that since I had booked with Expedia, I needed to speak with them so that they could cancel the reservation in hopes for her to rebook it. I called Expedia, they sent over a request to cancel the reservation. She then denied it. Why ask someone that's healing from surgery to go through all of this, just to deny it?!? What an unsympathetic thing to do to someone. Absolutely disgusting person to speak with.
