Hermosa Paradise

Property is just what it looks like in the pictures. Excellent communication from the hotel on WhatsApp. The apartment was cute, had basic cooking equipment and enough towels for everyone. The floors in the unit really needed to be cleaned and the keys/locks were a bit hard to use, those are my only complaints!

The reviews on this are pretty spot on. The pros: It's above a grocery store which is awesome, the kitchen is great, the 2-bedroom apartment is spacious, you can walk to Playa Hermosa (altho it's about 10 min), it feels safe, the inside pool area is low-key and quiet, the parking is secure. The cons: the front bedrooms in all three 2-bedroom units we rented were right on the road and it's pretty noisy. I personally couldn't sleep there and took the back bedroom which has two twins. Someone wrote the pool is falling apart. Many small tiles are definitely detaching but I would not worry about this at all! The pool is great.

Amazing place. When we come back to Costa Rica will definitely stay here again

I appreciated how quiet the neighborhood is that this apartment is located in. The other travelers were a pleasure to be around. There's a few great little stores on the block. The pool is falling apart and there are sharp edges so be aware of that. There a nice parking lot and the property feels very secure. The beads are comfy and the rooms are clean. Housekeeping is only every 3 days and you need to have data to receive the check-in instructions as reception has limited hours. Good value for the price.
