Hotel Villas Maria Isabel

Arrival/check in was great. Silvia was super nice and attentive every time I saw her. Offered to call taxis for me and told me she knew the number for local pizza delivery since there isn't much out there in Tangolunda. (the property is a bit further away from the restaurants and downtown). If you like a quieter area away from too many people, this is perfect.

I little too far away from everything. Had to get a taxi about 4 times a day to go and come to breakfast and dinner. Luckily the taxi central is only steps away and never had to wait for one.

Only one bathroom for 3 rooms in our villa

The ambiance of the complex was excellent much of which was based on the excellent staff. Cleaning and services by staff were top notch. The internet was disappointingly weak. There was no compost or recycling and the kitchens supply of things from cutlery to pots and pans was inadequate. The chaise longues for relaxing by the pool were very uncomfortable demanding the use of pillows from our suite and from other chairs. The amenities in the small room of the 3-bedroom villa had no hooks or closet space -- just one bookshelf. The pool was great, kiko the parrot was terrific. The policy re bottled water was not consistent among guests. We enjoyed out stay.

Wifi, water provision, kitchen supplies and bedroom hooks or closet were not adquate. Lounge chairs needed cushions.

The Villas Maria Isabel was Nice and Clean.

Hacen la limpieza de manera regular, me entregaron la habitación con un objeto olvidado del huésped que dejó la habitación el día de mi checkin, no recogen los vasos que uno usa, tomé agua por la noche y al otro día después de la limpieza, el vaso seguía con lo que sobró de agua de la noche anterior.

The property is small and cozy encouraging camaraderie among the vetting guests! The pool was small but nice! It was mixed with some children but not noisy!

The amenities were inconsistent from villa to villa! Insufficient cutlery and cooking utensils! Information was inconsistent’ All guests were not provided with the same info: eg; our party of two villas was not aware that breakfast was available for a fee. Also, water was provided free for some guests … we had one bottle complimentary then paid for each subsequent bottle! Those were irritants!
