A peaceful and pleasant place to stay on the southern part of the island We had a very enjoyable stay in this quiet and calm area of the island. The rooms were clean and well-equipped — we didn’t miss anything. Although our apartment was only partially renovated, it felt cozy and, most importantly, very clean. The TV had access to YouTube and Netflix, which was a nice extra. When we arrived, a bottle of water was waiting for us in the fridge, which we really appreciated after a late flight. Connie and Alois take excellent care of all the rooms and truly do their best to make guests feel comfortable. Every Wednesday, they organize a barbecue evening for all guests, which is a lovely touch and a great way to meet other families. Each apartment also comes with a cloth bag — if you put some coins in it, fresh bread is delivered daily. The pool is definitely one of the highlights — it’s beautifully maintained, and the area around it is clean and relaxing, with sun loungers, grass, and olive trees. The only downside is the lack of walking paths in the immediate area, so having a car is essential. There is a small convenience store next door for basic needs, and large supermarkets are just a 5-minute drive away. You’ll also find a variety of tavernas and restaurants just a few minutes away by car — there’s plenty to choose from. We felt very safe everywhere we went on the island, even with small children. The beaches nearby are absolutely beautiful — clean, with crystal-clear shallow water, sunbeds, beach bars, and restaurants. Perfect for families. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean place with great hospitality and local charm, we definitely recommend it.

The only thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t any space nearby for walks, a promenade, or a small town to stroll through.

Un colț de rai autentic grecesc – experiența Anemomylos este de neuitat! Am stat la Pensiunea Anemomylos și pot spune cu mâna pe inimă că, deși am fost și la hoteluri de 5 stele, aș alege oricând Anemomylos în locul oricărui hotel de lux. Este un loc nou renovat, cu un design modern, dar construit cu respect profund față de natură: energia verde este standard, iar apa de ploaie este colectată și folosită inteligent pentru întreținerea grădinii – un exemplu clar de circularitate și sustenabilitate reală. Dar ce face acest loc cu adevărat special este atenția extraordinară acordată experienței grecești autentice. În fiecare miercuri, patronii organizează un grătar cu toți oaspeții cazați, un moment de convivialitate și bucurie în care se oferă cartofi, ouzo și tzatziki din partea casei, iar oaspeții aduc doar carnea. Este încurajată comunicarea între călători din toate colțurile lumii – un mod sincer și cald de a lega prietenii dincolo de granițe. Un alt detaliu care m-a impresionat este colaborarea cu afacerile locale: în fiecare seară poți lăsa un coșuleț cu numărul camerei și 1,2€, iar dimineața un brutar local îți lasă o pâine proaspătă în coș. Este o inițiativă simplă, dar extrem de valoroasă. Pe lângă toate acestea, în cameră am găsit o cărticică realizată de proprietari, în care sunt recomandate restaurante excelente, plaje ascunse, activități locale și locuri de recreere – un mic ghid sincer și util, creat cu grijă, care ne-a ajutat să descoperim Corfu altfel decât din pliantele turistice. Este o afacere de familie în cel mai frumos sens al cuvântului: patronii, un cuplu dedicat și pasionat, sunt mereu prezenți și implicați, iar mama de 73 de ani, cu o energie fantastică, te face să te simți ca acasă din prima clipă. Anemomylos nu este doar un loc de cazare – este o stare de spirit, o experiență, o comunitate. Un loc unde simți Grecia cu sufletul și unde, garantat, vrei să te întorci.

Totul a fost minunat, dar cel mai mult mi-a plăcut barbeque -ul de miercuri cu toți oaspeții hotelului. Pe lângă faptul că am cunoscut oameni noi, ne-am distrat ca și când ne cunoșteam dintotdeauna. A fost o petrecere minunată! Iar Connie și Alois sunt gazdele perfecte! Recomand cu căldură acest loc!

Sehr gepflegte Anlage mit liebevollen Gastgebern, die auch vor Ort sind und immer schnell Lösungen finden und guten Tipps. Gemeinsames Grillen zum austauschen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

This is such a wonderful setup. Run as a family business, with just 8 rooms, the atmosphere was quiet and friendly. The whole place was kept to a very high standard, and any difficulties were immediately rectified by Alois, who was friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. Alois runs a daily shuttle to the local beach where his guests have free use of most of the sunbeds. The pool is magnificent, and the bbq run by the family every Wednesday was the perfect end to our holiday. The interactions between all the guests were so friendly, despite apparent language barriers, with everyone kindly making the effort to speak English as the common language. Some of the beaches nearby are excellent - shallow, sandy, and clean. We especially liked Gardenos beach, just up the coast, which was quieter than others. We would strongly recommend this accommodation in an unusually as yet undeveloped and peaceful area of Corfu, despite its apparent proximity to Kavos.

There was some road noise during the day as it suits back from the main road, although not a main road as we know them in the UK! This was never a problem at night or in the mornings and didn't disturb us at all. It was also a 20-minute walk into the small village of Lefkimmi for dinner.

The property was just as described and was very clean and well maintained. We were in Room 11 and had a beautiful view over the sea.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit toller Außenanlage + Pool. Der Host Alois hat ein super Heft mit Empfehlungen (Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Strände etc.) bereit gestellt. Es gab einen Brötchenservice bei welchem man frisches Brot für wenig Geld bestellen konnte. Die Unterkunft war mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet und man hat Supermärkte, Strände, schöne Natur und Restaurants mit dem Auto schnell erreicht.
