Residence Bouganvillage

Staff were really helpful. Restaurant went out of their way to provide Gluten Free food (for dinner) - we catered our own breakfast. Pool area was clean and (in June) very quiet.

Three things, two easy to fix, one not so. First the easy to fix - there was no kettle in the kitchen. We later found out that we could rent one, but it would have been good if it was simply provided. Two, there were no smoke detectors nor CO detectors in the apartment. Although they are not very common in Italy, they are common in the rest of Europe and it gave us a feeling of uneasiness. If the complex is catering to non-Italians, this would be a cheap and easy improvement. Thirdly, the balcony was designed to always be in shade. Although great for reading or eating, it wasn't so good if you wanted to sunbath at the apartment without going to the beach or the pool.

The location works well for us, and it was nice and quiet even though you can hear the cars on the main road hey it was a road it has road noise, and the staff were lovely. There was so much bird live and we had geckos come to visit in the evening which was nice.

The seating in the kitchen area was a little uncomfortable for me and the shower was just too small.

We loved the atmosphere of the Residence Bouganvillage. It is a lovely place, with great swimming pool, cafeteria (amazing coffee), and very kind staff. The apartment was big, there was washing machine and dishwasher. Great terase with table in front of the apartment, ideal for breakfast and dinner outside:) It was very calm there, no noise. Location is fine as well, near to 2 beautiful beaches (4 minutes by car) and shops 2 minutes.

A few apartments are across the street from the residence where the pool, reception and cafeteria is. We would probably prefer to stay right in the residence. It was fine this way, it is very close to it, we just did not expect it. Also, this outside part looked a bit older. We would also appreciate to have some detergent and sponge / dishwasher capsules in the kitchen. We have to buy it. Otherwise everything was fine, so no big issue there.

Nice views

We were charged €10 per person for towels on arrival (€50), we were only provided with one roll of toilet paper for 3 nights for 5 people. The aircon didn’t work properly for most of the stay.

The service, how peaceful it was, the rooms, everything to be honest.

There is not many attractions for kids in the local area.
