I loved the art, the room/bunk bed set up, they had a kitchen everyone could use, the bathroom set up was great with multiple toilets and showers in each closed door stall, they offered a towel, (a lot of hostels do not offer towels), it was small and homey. The layout with separate hangout areas was good.

I didn’t like the male volunteer/employee who helped at the front desk and around the hostel. He’s rude, judgmental, w/ no patience. He’s not chill enough to be there in any capacity, in my opinion.

This hostel was great. Big rooms, kitchen and bathroom. Everything was super clean. Quite social hostel as well. The room temperature with ac was great. I had a great stay. They even offered private surf lessons for 45$.

They did not provide oil or any spices to cook, which was quite disapointing. They only provided salt. Providing the cooking basics would be a great addition to the hostel.

I stayed in the King Studio and it was enormous. Really liked it. Great value for money. The staff were lovely. Easy to socialise with other travellers. It’s a chilled hostel so don’t expect beer pong, pool and bar crawls. Good location, 5 mins walk to centre of town and the beach. Very quiet at night.

Not much. Maybe a little too chilled for me as a solo traveller. No bar but my room had a fridge 😉

The place is nice. Well thought for everyone.

Yoga mats were very dirty. Pillows very high, and uncomfortable.

This place was perfect for my partner and I. We are both young, adventurous travellers and when we stayed here, we felt like we stepped into another home. It was so nice to meet people from all over the world. We were in the tent and it was literally the best sleep we had in Costa Rica. We'll be back!

We were only there 1 night so didn't really notice anything we didn't like. We loved everything.

The king room was a huge separate building and one of the comfiest beds ever. Tons of space. The pool was so refreshing, I saw tons of birds and iguana. The people were really friendly, and the kitchen had what you need to cook + some coffee in the morning. I appreciated that it was a little out of the way of the busy part of town, ~a 10 minute walk from the main stuff in town

There were some ants when I first arrived, but there was ant spray and I had left out a piece of food when I first arrived, so it might have been my fault. With the spray and removing the food, they were gone the next day. Some guests got quite loud at night, but at the lights out time (11?) they quieted down
