Beautiful, modern hotel with two pools and a private beach area. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast buffet had a lot of variety.

The air conditioning wasn’t working properly so we couldn’t set the temperature above 18 C. I am sure they would have fixed it if we complained but it was fine.

Our stay at Nautilux Rethymno was absolutely amazing. We booked directly through the hotel website and got some nice extra benefits, including a very generous room upgrade that really made our stay special. The upgraded room was one of the biggest ones with a private hot tub and sea view. It was spotless, new, and beautifully designed. The reception staff were also very kind and welcoming, making us feel comfortable right from the start. The whole team was warm and hospitable, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and cozy. A special shout-out to Olivia (I hope I got her name right!) from the restaurant. she was incredibly friendly, and we had such a nice conversation with her. Because it was low season, the food was à la carte instead of buffet, and honestly, that was even better. The quality was great, and the service felt very personal and luxurious. Even though it’s a small resort, it feels peaceful and intimate, the kind of place you instantly feel at home but luxurious. I honestly think this might be one of the best hotels I have stayed at. If I get a similar offer again, I would love to come back! maybe even make it a yearly tradition. Highly recommend it!

We loved everything about our stay at the Nautilux. As far as we are concerned, it is clearly a very well run hotel. Every single staff member that we met was so helpful and friendly. The pool area and proximity to the beach was perfect. Parking at the hotel was stress free. We walked into the center of town ….once! It was a lovely walk but the best thing is that there are always taxis available right by the hotel and in the town to bring you to and fro. Town was definitely worth a visit. There are also lots of restaurants and bars nearby if you prefer to stay near the hotel. We particularly liked the Taverna next door. Breakfast at the hotel was great too! Lovely hotel… definitely recommended!

Nautilux is a new and beautifully designed hotel — modern, stylish, and full of great facilities. Our room was spacious, with a huge terrace and a wonderful atmosphere surrounded by lots of greenery that really reminded us of Bali. One of the biggest advantages is that the hotel has its own private beach directly connected to the pool area — unlike many other hotels in the area that are separated from the beach by a busy road. The breakfast was excellent, with a lovely view of the pool, and the service at breakfast was just perfect!

A few things could be improved: the reception staff were a bit inflexible, and the parking fee of €15 per day felt unnecessary — I wouldn’t mind paying that in the center of a busy city, but for this location, it didn’t feel justified (especially since in Heraklion we stayed at a similar hotel with free underground parking). Also, the 11 AM check-out time seems too early. I know this is common policy, but it still feels unfair when check-in starts around 3 PM and check-out is so soon after. Overall, though, it’s a stunning hotel that we really enjoyed and would happily return to!

A very warm and friendly welcome with a refreshing lemon lemonade as a welcome drink. The breakfasts were simply outstanding – definitely the best and most delicious we had in Greece! The breakfast room staff were exceptionally kind, smiling, and professional. The triple room was rather small – one double bed and one bed under the TV, which wasn’t very comfortable since the TV sound was quite loud. Unfortunately, the room felt dusty, and two family members experienced a dust mite allergy that hadn’t bothered them for a long time. The pool area is beautiful and comfortable, with safe access to the sea. It was very nice that towels were freely available in several places by the pool and beach – a thoughtful touch that added to the comfort. What left a slightly unpleasant impression was the staff in green uniforms. It seemed that guests were treated differently – these staff members regularly asked others how they were doing, but during our five-day stay, no one approached us even once. It’s a pity if the only communication from them is a letter slipped under the door – that doesn’t reflect well on a 5-star hotel. Overall, a beautiful hotel with a great location, excellent breakfasts, and a lovely atmosphere, though there are a few aspects that could be improved.

Apgaismojums numurā nesaprotams, jo izmantojot naktī, tas traucē gulētājiem. Diemžēl izmantojot fēnu istabinā ir neciešams troksnis, tas dēļ jocīgās vannas istabas.TV nav atbilstošs 5 zvaigznēm, jo nav iespējams viedtelevīzijas straumēšanas platformu izmantot. Notiek viesu šķirošana, diemžēl pārāk uzkrītoši tas ir redzams!
