Tarabino Inn

Comfortable room and accommodations! We loved the atmosphere and house. Plan on eating breakfast elsewhere, a “light breakfast” was supposed to be included but the kitchen was pretty bare (dry cereal but no milk). Overall we would stay again and just bring a few kid breakfast items to hold everyone over!

Joy made the experience exceptional.

Joy is an excellent host and did her best to provide whatever we needed. The house is high on a hill with great views but close enough to walk to town. It is a beautiful mansion with original finishes but a bit rundown. No breakfast but did provide milk and cereals with nuts, etc. big rooms.

Beautiful historic home just steps away from downtown. Very well restored. Joy greeted us with a smile and was very helpful. Located up on a hill plus we were on the second floor, the views were incredible. Would definitely stay here again. On a side note, this home is for sale and they no longer provide breakfast. The Las Animas Grill has excellent breakfast.

I love the Tarabino. The rooms are carefully appointed and comfortable. I love the view of the mountains from the second floor.

Fantastic alternative to cookie cutter hotels. Great a small glimpse behind the curtains of how the wealthy lived over 100 years ago. Beautiful three story house with lots of room to stretch out, and a great host who makes you feel very welcome.

Loved our stay here! The historic building is charming and the suite we stayed in was so spacious and comfortable for our family. What stood out the most though was the friendly and accommodating innkeeper, Joy. Location is great - walkable to dining and shops in town. Well worth a visit!

Joy is a treasure and her hospitality is exemplary. She not only provided a nice list of restaurants that could accommodate my stupid Dietary issues and fun things to do in the area, but she also made sure that my stay was comfortable and that i felt welcome. Thank you. I will definitely return, but also recommend this fantical, magical place. Thank you for the amazing experience!
