Door handles falling off, shower brackets unusable, saucepan handles loose

Loved the outdoor space. The pool was fantastic, a great size for the size of the villa and the views were incredible. The terrace looking out over the sea was a lovely place to spend the evening.

The inside of the villa is a little tired and could do with a refresh. While it was perfectly clean, I think for the money and comparing the place to others we have stayed in we expected something a bit brighter/more spacious. The bathroom is incredibly small for a family of 4 and again could do with some work. On the first day of the holiday the hook to hold the shower hose up fell off, and the shower head itself had split by day 2. While the villa owner was responsive and sorted these things out quickly, they should have been picked up by cleaners before we arrived. The key safe beside the front door was also unusable as most of the time it simply wouldn’t open.

A fantastic stay. What really makes this villa is the amazing outside space. A gigantic 40ft x 20ft south-facing terrace with sensational views of the sea, coast, mountain, Corfu Town and yachts passing by; a 21ft x 7ft balcony (good for eating lunch), pool/lounger area and BBQ area near front door - basically there is always an area with shade and area with sun. The pool is bigger than it looks - 24ft x 15ft (great for games of Marine Quest). The property is totally private and not overlooked, mainly surrounded by olive trees. Good flat parking area. Interior is comfortable & clean, two good-sized bedrooms with A/C, well equipped kitchen. Lounge is on the small side but not a detraction as you're outside most of the time! The walk down the hill to Nissaki Beach is about 10-12mins and was one of our highlights, not too taxing and we liked to do it even though we had a hire car (Sunrise - very good). Vitamins restaurant and Midnight Cocktail Bar are great. Oliva's restaurant is high-end luxury (but very pricey) and Fontas hire boats in Nissaki harbour a must.

The stunning views down the coast and across to Corfu town. Superb pool that was private and clean. Having rented various properties over the years, this stood out a mile as the best we have ever taken!
