Molenmeers Boutique Guesthouses

We have just come back from a brilliant trip in Bruges staying 2 nights at Molenmeers Boutique Guesthouse. Sophie was a brilliant host, gave us some great tips on where to visit and eat. The guesthouse was beautiful, clean and spacious. It was our anniversary and Sophies daughter had put petals shaped of a love heart on the bed and a few heart decoration dotted about which was such a lovely touch. Sophie did us a breakfast of fresh pastries, fruit, eggs and meats/bread which was delicious. Location was great, right on the canal which was lovely watching the boats go past having breakfast. 10 min walk from main square. Overall, highly recommend, and look forward to returning.

The next door neighbour was very loud in their room with offensive language

Just the stairs up to our room but we got used to them.

The hotel had lots of character with antique furniture and the room was spacious. Sophie was lovely and very helpful, I could always phone her if I needed anything. The bed was very comfy and there were plenty of provisions. There was a good cafe with fresh pastries just round the corner.

This is the best place I have stayed at. The location was very central and yet away from the chaos. The host was very nice and helpful. Other than your room, you have available many common spaces, such as the garden, living room with window on the canal, and an amazing old library upstairs with a beautiful view. We will for sure be coming back if in Belgium.

A beautiful property, thoughtfully decorated, in a quiet but great location in easy walking distance to the centre and overlooks the canal. The rooms are huge and so comfortable! The best part though is Sofie, the most wonderful host of the hotel; warm and welcoming, friendly, funny and helpful. So glad I found this gem. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again if returning to Bruges!

Nothing I didn’t like about the property, however it’s worth noting for some that the stairs to the upstairs rooms are very steep and narrow. They do have a ground floor room as well though.
