Mountain Lake Cottages

Beautiful view of the lake and super clean and cozy cottage. Fireplace was easy to use and there were enough local places to go to for meals and other needs.

It’s a wonderful and peaceful place—very quiet, beautiful, and clean. Kris is always available to help and makes you feel comfortable. We can’t wait to return and see the autumn colors there.

The parking was less than desired. Manager was a little off. Upcharges. Cabin was advertised as being directly on lake... lots of trees to obstruct view. Meh... not worth the money. Cobwebs and spiders in the bathroom.

It was quiet, charming in a rustic way, Very clean, and with lots of attention from Kris, the on-site property manager. We were right on Lake Willoughby and it was absolutely gorgeous. There's not a lot to do in the area in the fall / winter, but we wanted just to go and relax, and we did that! It was perfect for us. We stayed in cabin number one, the original log cabin, and as one might expect it had a bit of a draft - but fresh air is a good thing when it's offset by a good heating system! The Wi-Fi was weak /slow but we didn't care because the AT&T cell service was just fine, and we accessed the internet that way or used a hotspot. We enjoyed some really good food at the Gap, a local restaurant, and the foliage color was just spectacular.. If you're not concerned about having everything look "modern", then I would say this is a perfect place for a getaway! We might even try it sometime for a family vacation, as there are many small cottages in one place the lakeshore.

What a view!!! If you would like one of the best vistas nature has to offer, this place is it. Our host was amazing and made sure our stay was perfect.

What a beautiful place, Lake Willoughby was stunning and our cabin overlooking the Lake was perfectly placed to take in the views. The cabin had rustic charm and our host was super friendly and helpful. Loved the fires by the Lake each evening with comfy seats and good company.

Bedrooms were very tight. Could do with better lighting in bedrooms.

Kris was amazing, i dont know how she can handle alone all that work, but hat's off to her. She really makes a difference and participates actively in almost everything thats going on there.Thank you again! The proprety is calm, peaceful, gorgeous and you have everything you need. Plus the location is ideal
